ECA offers industry-driven training that includes classroom theory, hands-on training, and field experience combined with a case management approach to support our students through launching their careers.

Our clean energy training programs are designed to prepare students for fulfilling careers in high-demand sectors paying family sustaining wages. Our most frequently offered programs include:

Additional Support

We also support our students with additional soft skills required for finding employment in today’s workforce, including resume writing and interview training.

For students who may need wrap-around services to enable them to take part in training, ECA can help with SNAP benefit applications, SEPTA fare, childcare, connections to food or housing support, and stipends (available for specific programs only).

Eligibility Requirements

Our training programs are grant funded and free for participants through funding from public and private partners. We primarily train residents of Philadelphia with a high school degree or GED who are unemployed or underemployed, or returning citizens. To qualify, you must be:

  • 18 years or older
  • H.S. Degree or GED Required
  • Pass physical assessment
