The Youth Conservation Corps Program, funded by the National Park Service, provided young individuals with training and experience in protecting national parks and historic buildings. Students attended training at ECA’s facilities and learned about building science and weatherization. Students then took these skills and performed projects on National buildings and parks and informed others about the benefits of weatherization and energy conservation.
