Course Description:
This course is designed to supplement the face-to-face BPI Building Analyst/Auditor Certification course. Students who opt to take this course will begin 6 weeks prior to taking the face-to-face BPI certification course. Students will have access to this software for 4 weeks after completing the BPI face-to-face course. ECA strongly recommends taking this course as it will help to ensure successfully passing of the BPI written and field exams. Students should spend a minimum of 30 hours during the 6 week period prior to taking the face-to-face BPI certification course. Students will spend 5 hours with a facilitator during the week of the face-to-face BPI certification course. An additional 20 hours after successfully completing the BPI certification course is recommended to help ensure passing the field exam.

This course is intended as a supplement to the BPI Certification Course for individuals who have prerequisite knowledge in one of the building trades (Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC).
Individuals who have completed a weatherization course and have several years experience in weatherization are also good candidates for this course. Individuals who are architects, construction managers, home inspectors, realtors or educators can benefit from the knowledge gained in this course.
