On May 13, 2010, on the white roof of the 1515 Market St., Mayor Nutter announced that the 1200 Block of Wolf St has been chosen as the Coolest Block! After reviewing all 74 applications, a panel of judges chose 1200 Wolf because of its high resident participation, condition of roofs currently installed, and essay submission. All participating residents on that block will receive a block party, free energy audit, white roof coating, air sealing, and insulation!
