Services For Low-Income Families
In 2010, ECA and the Neighborhood Energy Centers (NECs) provided 54,693 services to low income households in Philadelphia, valued at over $27 million.
Green Jobs Training
Green jobs are more than just another day’s work; they’re in-demand, well-paying careers that will build a greener, more affordable future for everyone. ECA is an approved weatherization training center for the State of Pennsylvania, and trains to state certification standards as well as the national, certifications for the Building Performance Institute’s (BPI) Building Analyst and RESNET’s Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Rater.

ECA offers FREE workshops to groups. During these sessions, a trained workshop leader will show you how simple changes can save you money and make your home more comfortable today!
LEED & ENERGYSTAR Home Certification
LEED Certification and ENERGY STAR® for Homes can help improve energy efficiency and comfort!Smart Energy Solutions (SES),a fee for service department of ECA, provides both LEED for Homes and ENERGY STAR Homes certification for single and multi-family homes. SES works with builders, developers, architects and contractors in Pennsylvania and across the region, helping them build more energy efficient homes.
